Weird shopping trip or Normal Children's Ministry Supplies

I always love heading to Wal-Mart about 10:00 PM on a Children's Ministry shopping trip. I can usually guarantee the weirdest buggy full of stuff in my line - if not in the store. Sometimes kids stare and drool over my basket of toys. Other time like tonight, the checker's looks are priceless.

So, what did tonight's pre-camp shopping yield? Water balloons, plug strips, 2 skateboard helmets, 2 small plastic trash cans, four bathroom plungers, a waterballoon slingshot and wiffle balls. Pretty tame, don't you think.

Hope your summer has started out well! I'm prepping for camp and some crazy activities to go along with the Bible study, and worship with a great group of kids - they always are. We're praying the rain stays away for camp! Take it easy, and maybe I'll see you at Wal-Mart some night!
